Tucker Bush Micro Food Forest

by | Apr 20, 2021

*NEW DATES* 6 May – 9 May, 2021

Say hello to Tucker Bush at the 2021 Perth Garden Festival in Langley Park, WA’s only premier outdoor living and gardening lifestyle experience. You’ll find:

The Tucker Bush Micro-food forest

Come see a biodiverse edible ecosystem in a tiny space, and learn how to create your own backyard micro-food forest from a range of native bushfoods and water-wise Australian plants.

New release bushfoods not yet available to the public

Until now, we’ve only been trialling these selected species. This is your chance to get in early, before these bushfoods become widely available.

Information on how to grow and maintain bushfood plants.

Our founder and lead horticulturist, Mark Tucek, will be available to answer any questions about your bushfood plants, micro-forest cultivation, and the Tucker Bush Schools Program.

Cooking with native ingredients on the Kleenheat Kitchen Stage

A very special demonstration on how to use native ingredients, featuring a selection of edible plants available in the Tucker Bush range.

Australian native edible plants for sale

Don’t miss out on our nursery-direct plant sale. We’ll have over 60 varieties on show with fellow green thumbs who can give you the lowdown on how to get the most from your bushfood.

Dried Native Herbs

Grown and packaged at our very own nursery located in the Perth Hills. These products are nurtured under the plant’s ideal growing conditions, and fed the same nutrients we recommend to home gardeners.

Tucker Bush & Bindi Bindi Presentation

Together with Marissa Verma of Bindi Bindi Dreaming, we’ll be giving a presentation on bushfoods and Aboriginal culture — this is one event not to be missed!
