Bush Mint is more savoury than Rivermint. Use this strong minty herb in dips, sauces, soups, or as a flavouring for lamb and other heavy meats. This particular selection is also recommended in hot teas and iced sweet tea.

Tucker Bush Bush Mint was grown and dried at our headquarters located in the Perth Hills on Whadjuk Noongar country. This bog-loving native herb was nurtured under the plant’s ideal growing conditions, and fed the very same organic nutrients we recommend to backyard gardeners. We know exactly what has been sprayed on these plants — nothing!
From the Warndu website: “We must develop a new co-culture approach to the future, drawing on the oldest continuous civilisation in the world and building to the resistance of a multicultural Australia.”
We launched our line of native herb products to help introduce traditional bush food flavours to modern Australian cuisine. Part proceeds from every packet sold help fund the Tucker Bush Schools Program, cultivating a new generation of plant-loving Aussies with awareness and respect for this country’s unique natural treasures.
Native River Mint (Mentha australis) can be found in most regions of the country, often around rivers, bogs and other damp, shaded places.
Slender Mint (Mentha diemenica) grows naturally in grasslands and forests from the Mt Lofty Ranges in South Australia, throughout Victoria and Tasmania, and as far north as the Blue Mountains of New South Wales.
Tucker Bush acknowledges the wisdom and knowledge of Aboriginal Elders both past and present, acknowledges the custodians of the land upon which our organisation operates, and pays respects to the Aboriginal communities of today.
